Every diver should aspire to be a PADI Rescue Diver. During your training you will learn to recognize and understand the cause of diving accidents in addition to strengthening your own self rescue skills. In this physically challenging course you will learn how to manage diving accidents and work as a team to help those in need. The PADI Rescue diver course is a perfect compliment to your training so far making you a more competent and aware diver who thinks like a diver.

- Evidence of a current CPR/First Aid certification is required or can be completed in conjunction with this Rescue Diver Course.
- Not recommended for pregnant travelers
- Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries
- Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
- All participants will be required to complete a new health questionnaire prior to signing up for a new level of certification. Some pre-existing medical conditions (eg asthma, heart conditions, Diabetes etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult you
- Evidence of an Advanced Open Water dive certification is required from all divers wishing to participate in a Rescue Diver Course.

I took my Rescue Diver Course with SDCR and I had the best time!
I arranged it via WhatsApp since I got a recommendation for that Dive Center! Everything was just easy and worked out just the way we discussed upfront!
The teaching was very Professional and I learned a lot! The Instructor was fun and did take good care of us! And his focus was 100% on us and that we were doing it correct! If you're thinkkng about taking a Course - SDCR is a great place for that!
I had a Shuttleservice to and from my Hostel which was great since I was staying in Tamarindo without a Car.
The Fundives were just amazing too! Don't expect to See a lot of corrals! But you get the big Fish! Awsome Shark encounters, heaps of fish, variety of all kind of sealife!
Every Dive was done very professional on a great boat!
On top I Had very great Rental Equipment! Very good maintained and new!
If I come Back to Costa Rica I will for Sure Go Diving with them!

Phil runs a superb operation and I thoroughly enjoyed my time with him and his fantastic team. I was exceptionally well looked after from start to finish. I was lucky enough to have Sabrina as my teacher and she was absolutely amazing - I couldn’t have asked for a better or nicer instructor to take me through the course. Dive master Danny was also a wonderful help throughout the training and great fun. These guys were all an absolute joy to spend time with and offered top notch tuition all the way through. Very sad saying goodbye to them all today.
