Group lesson
- Minimum 4 people to form a group
- Cost $40 per person
- 90 minutes instruction time.
- Board and rash-guard included for lesson duration.
- Minimum age 12 years
- Best for first-time surfers learning in a group environment
Semi-Private lesson
- Minimum 2 people
- Maximum 3 people
- Cost $55 per person
- 90 minutes instruction time.
- Board and rash-guard included for lesson duration.
- Best for families with children under 12 years old, who are not permitted to participate in a regular group lesson for safety reasons, couples and small groups of friends who prefer more personalized attention.
Private lesson
- One-on-one instruction
- Cost $120
- 90 minutes instruction time.
- Board and rash-guard included for lesson duration.
- Best for intermediate surfers that would like to bring their surfing to the next level or individuals who want or need personalized instruction.
Appropriate beginner surfboard & rashguard for sun and rash protection
Experienced instructor
Hotel pickup and drop-off for private lessons
Beers available to purchase at the surf shop
Gratuities

Snacks and selected drinks are available for purchase at the surf shop.

- 2 surf instructors can teach up to 8 students.
- A minimum of 4 people required for group lessons.
- Children under 12 are not permitted to participate in group lesson due to safety reasons.
- Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller
- Same pricing applies to all travelers
- Subject to favorable weather conditions. If canceled due to poor weather (thunder & lightning), you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund.
- Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
- 1 surf instructor can teach up to 4 students.
- 3 surf instructors can teach up to 12 students.
- Cancellation policy: All cancellations within 24 hours of scheduled activity will incur a full penalty fee
- Heights/weights of participants is helpful to choose the right equipment.
- Minimum age is 3 years and there is no maximum age ;)
- Service animals allowed
- Times are dictated by the tides. Always reach out to Frijoles Locos to check best time for lesson on your preferred day!
