Take an introductory scuba diving course in Costa Rica to sample the popular sport and experience two easy dives at the Catalina Islands. The 5-hour program is geared for people who want to try scuba diving for the first time and do not hold a qualification already. You will not receive a PADI certification, but you will get a firsthand scuba experience in the warm waters of Guanacaste.

I did a discover scuba dive and it was a fantastic experience. Luna, my guide was personable, professional, knowledgeable, and a calming presence for moments when I was nervous or didn't know what to do during the dive. The entire company was communicative and friendly, from the initial booking to pickup to when we got dropped off at our hotel. I loved the experience!

I loved my first experience scuba diving with Santi! He ensured I felt safe and prepared for the adventure. He was very knowledgable and friendly as well. The diving at Catalinas Islands was gorgeous. The whole experience was great.

I am a non-certified first-time diver. Had a discovery dive at Catalina Islands. Wanted to try scuba and had an excellent experience to remember with training pool and two ca 40min dives. Riski was the best possible instructor to learn diving with!

Today was amazing!! Pacific Coast Dive Center runs a great operation, Victor, Santi, Fernando and the other guys are all amazing!! We saw it all, over 50 types of fish, all sizes and shapes, rays, baby sharks, and more!! Highly recommended, pura vida!!
