Best Boat Excursion I've Ever Done

I was travelling with a group of 14 people so selecting the private tropical sunset catamaran option seemed like the right idea for us. The bus picked us up right on time at our airbnb in Tamarindo and brought us to our boat about 20-30 minutes away. The second we got on the boat we were welcomed by Eric, Luis, and Jose and they were absolutely awesome. They were always making sure we had drinks in hand and were always aware of safety when each of us were walking around the boat. The snorkeling stop was awesome to get in the water and hang out for a bit and then.... THE FOOD. Truly unbelievable food was prepared for us: tacos, salad, fruit, desserts. It was honestly incredible and delicious and there was more than enough to feed everyone. After the meal we started heading back to the beach and the sunset was one of the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen. The price was absolutely worth this amazing day. Would do this again for sure if I came back to the area.
Great catamaran and snorkeling cruise

We had a great time snorkeling and relaxing on the catamaran. Joy led us on our snorkeling adventure and we saw beautiful fish. The ride was tons of fun - great tacos, drinks, and music. On the way back, we had a beautiful sunset. Joy and the entire crew were great.
Private sunset cruise

This was our second time booking Lazy Lizard, and they didn't disappoint. Because of COVID, we decided to go with the private sunset cruise for our group (although we did have a good time the last time as well). Since there were 10 of us, we felt that the price was very reasonable. We had a beautiful day, and the staff was excellent - professional, fun, and attentive. Our cruise included drinks and snacks like tacos and taquitos. They were also very easy to communicate with to arrange our booking. We would absolutely book again the next time we're back.

Booked through our hotel (Cala Luna) in Langosta, and did not disappoint. Day trip on the catamaran, with full open bar and food. Snorkeling around the area was a blast, and Eric was fantastic touring us around and helping with the kids. Will return!
Spectacular sunset aboard a special cruise

Our private catamaran cruise aboard Lazy Lizzard's catamaran was one of the major highlights of our week in Costa Rica. Captain Luis, Angelo, and their crew were so hospitable and professional. The lunch was surprisingly delicious and abundant (as was the alcohol) and the sunset was spectacular. We recommend that you take Captain Luis' cue and remain silent for a couple of minutes to listen to the sea and soak up the gorgeous sunset and moonrise.

Great time spent with friends and family! Captain Luis and crew Luis and Angelo were amazing! Entertaining, accommodating, funny and safe! We saw stingrays, dolphins, turtles, and caught a baby tuna we released! Stunning views and Sunset! Dinner was delish! Thank you for the memories!

Yesterday I tried Lazy Lizard's "Sip and Sail" - a wine tasting and food pairing sunset catamaran cruise. It was truly memorable and one of the most fun times I've had in months. I live in Costa Rica and prefer the intimacy of the Lazy Lizard catamarans compared to some of the other giant ones in the area. Also, their staff has been with them forever and are truly exceptional and happen to be super fun.
