Our secluded beach is the ultimate place to learn to surf with the best company in Costa Rica. No worries about 100s of other surfers around you and Playa Grande is a beautiful beach as well. The waves are awesome for beginners to intermediate surfers and we only surf around the high tide to give you the best possible waves. We take special care in every customer to make sure they have the best day of their vacation and take 150-250 pictures and video to prove it.

We booked our surf lessons with Mojo Surf Adventures on a very secluded beach near Tamarindo. Our driver picked us up at the Westin Reserva Conchal. Due to ongoing knee issues, I served as photographer and 8 in our group surfed. Everyone who tried (ages 14-56) managed to get up! Our instructors were amazing -- friendly and helpful. We coordinated with Mojo to extend our excursion a bit by heading into Tamarindo for food, drinks, sunset and shopping after surfing. Our driver dropped us off at La Palapa restaurant where we were able to shower off before enjoying the scenery.
They were very welcoming and careful with our group. Coki was our instructor, super friendly! we had a break with some pineapple and water during our lesson. I really recommend them!
We had the best experience with Mojo Surf!! We had so much fun, we booked it again towards the end of our trip. They supply everything you need and took photos for us as well. I would come back just for them!
