Our secluded beach is the ultimate place to learn to surf with the best company in Costa Rica. No worries about 100s of other surfers around you and Playa Grande is a beautiful beach as well. The waves are awesome for beginners to intermediate surfers and we only surf around the high tide to give you the best possible waves. We take special care in every customer to make sure they have the best day of their vacation and take 150-250 pictures and video to prove it.

If you have ever wanted to try surfing, this is the place for you! Playa Grande is the perfect beach--nice sand and no rock. Tim was great to work with to make arrangements, took fun photos during, and J was a great instructor! He was in the water with us the whole time helping out. Highly, highly recommend and we will be back again.

This experience is a must, and one of the best you’ll find the area. First off, Tim and Johel work with the tides, so they bring their guests out when the time is right vs a lot of other surf experiences trying to make a quick buck. You’ve got you’re own private little spot on Playa Grande to learn. And you’re working with a local pro here…Johel is an instructor who knows his stuff and makes you feel super safe. Tim stays close by on beach, shouting tips and taking glam shots as you surf. Cold water and fresh pineapple is provided too. I will definitely be back to surf with them again!
Surfing in a private beach

I went with my boyfriend, we had an amazing morning surfing in a private beach with very good instructors. We spent 2 hours or a little more surfing and we did a break of 15 minutes to take some fruit and water. Tim made videos and pics of all the people and he will send ours by mail ( ;) ).

The spot was perfect: constant waves, small and big, we were alone, and an instructor for four. Drinks and pineapple by the beach if you get tired :) ideal conditions to start learning!
